Stop The Pencil Brow Madness! Follow This Guide To The Perfect Eyebrows......by Lolade Shuga (Place of Mode)

Which hairs you tweeze and which ones you don't is the difference between attractively shaped brows and misshapen ones.
-Try using an eyebrow pencil to draw on different shapes over your brow area to see which shape looks the best.

-Use a magnifying mirror,so you can see each hair & go slowly (one hair at a time) so you don't over-tweeze.

-The beginning of the brow should align with the center of the nostril & the arch of the brow should fall at the back third of the eye.

-The eyebrow should follow the length of the eye but it shouldn't extend into the temple area.

-Brush the brows straight up with a brow brush or an old toothbrush.

-Avoid over-tweezing above the brow. A few stray hairs are fine to remove, but too much and it can create an unnatural look.

-Do not overstate the shape of the brow; minimal brow alteration is best.

-Do not pluck brows into a thin line thinking it will make your eyes look larger. It can look dated or give the face a surprised look and this shape is not easy to correct once the damage is done.

-Hairs that are too long and floppy should be trimmed, tweezing long brow hairs rather than trimming them can result in gaps in the eyebrow. or create a patchy appearance.

-Sometimes you don’t even need to pick up that eyebrow pencil,a little cleaning up should do the trick. Once the hair removal is kept to a minimum, then you won’t have to draw on the brows so much. If you do decide to go for a drawn brow, you want them to look as natural as possible, this means that you want a sharpened point on your brow pencil.

-To define your brows, not re-draw them, start off with an eyebrow spoolie. This will help you place all your brow hairs in the right direction and to your liking,An old washed mascara wand will also do the trick.

- Using the end of the spoolie, you are going to figure out your perfect brow. Align the end of the brush from the top of your brow to the bottom of your nose, this is where your brow should start. From your nose to the outside of your pupil should be where your arch begins. And finally, from your nose to the outside of your eye should be the tail or the end of your brow.

-I think the most controllable product to use in filling the eyebrows is a pencil,Start off with LIGHT (emphasis on light) strokes at the bottom of your brow. You can get a little darker at the tail to define the brow. You can also outline the top portion of your brow flowing the natural curves, or you can go in and start filling in the brows, again, lightly.

-Next,use an eye-makeup brush to softly blur the pencil strokes (or use a cotton swab or even a very gentle fingertip stroke). Remember, the goal is to soften the look of the strokes, not to smear them out of recognition.

-To finish the look, get a brush and a concealer that is two shades lighter than your skin. Use the lighter shade under the brow and then a foundation or concealer on top of the brow so it looks more natural,The concealer is going to make your brows look done and defined.

And voila! You’re done. Easy, natural and beautiful brows.
